We are delighted to announce that Political Economy Beyond Boundaries will continue as a standing section for another 3 years. PEBB has become a cornerstone of annual PEC events and a regular feature of our collective calendars. As section chairs, we have been honoured to host more than 100 scholars across dozens of sessions since our first instalment in 2021.

The renewal of PEBB’s standing section status also marks the end of our tenure as section chairs. It is with great delight that we are passing the torch to two outstanding colleagues. Starting with PEC 24 in Lille, the section will be chaired by Melissa Johnston and Roberto Roccu. Melissa and Roberto are long-standing contributors to PEBB and share our commitment to developing the section as a pluralist space for radical political economy.

We are grateful to all colleagues who have dedicated their time to the section, and shared their work and camaraderie with us. We look forward to seeing you all in Lille at PEC 24!
